What Kind of Cupcake Boxes Should you Use?
With the current trend and interest in cupcakes, it comes as no surprise that cupcake shops are springing up everywhere. My favorite cup cake shop presents their cakes in such delightful cupcake boxes that it is totally impossible to resist.
I have started to collect their cup cake boxes; especially the individual boxes which supplement with paper from drawer liners and use them to keep small jewelry items. This actually gave me an idea and I started to decorate the cupcake boxes that I was collecting. By visiting other cupcake stores I realized that very few took much attention to their cupcake boxes and simply used plain white cup cake boxes to sell their cakes. I checked online and ordered some plain white cupcake boxes for myself and proceeded to decorate each cup cake box in an individual fashion. After I had prepared some sample designs ı visited as many cupcake stores as I could to try to persuade them that cupcake boxes with some design elements would increase their cupcake sales and orders. After a week I received my first order from one of the smaller cupcake stores and I then went back to the internet to order in bulk, this time; some more cupcake boxes. The cup cake boxes that I had ordered were an assortment of plain and colored boxes that I would decorate for the store as per their requirements. Soon after I started decorating the first batch of cupcake boxes, I received a small order from another cupcake store. The cup cake boxes they wanted were for a one off special occasion. After completing the two orders of decorated cupcake boxes, I didn’t hear anything further for another 2 weeks after which both cupcake stores gave me a regular order for decorated cup cake boxes.
It seemed that both stores had increased their sales with the help of the cupcake boxes. As word spread and I picked up recommendations, orders started to come from other cupcake stores. Today I still decorate cupcake boxes and my small business venture is steadily growing.
